The Orange Regional Appaloosa Club is proud to be the longest running Appaoloosa club in the state. Upon joining our club it opens up to you plenty of shows and great social activities.

The ORAC holds regular A class shows at the Orange Showground sand rodeo arena. In our program we offer not only the regular Breed Halter, and open Western and English Hunter events, we also pride our selves in the wide variety of classes for our new members and their horses with the inclusion of Walk and trot and novice classes.

Another very popular event held in the show season is the beginner workshops, at a very reasonable price for a great day out, we cover all classes on the program discussing attire, rules and regulations, what is expected of you in the class in the judges eyes, and of course plenty of practical work running through theses events on foot or in the saddle.

During the year our point scores tabulates each members individual points after each show day, at the end of the show season we have a presentation night, a great night out at a local venue for the presentation of our yearly awards.

As members you receive a newsletter every few weeks and we keep in touch via email with updates.

Our new website is also going to be a valuable source of information for all interested parties.

Our club is also the proud host of the NSW Appaloosa Championships with dates running from the 6th -8th October 2011 at Dubbo showground. This is a large project run very successfully by a few club members for many years, we are very proud of our efforts for such a small club.

Sincerely

Debbie Pearson
